Saltoun Wood
Saturday 27th August

***Results***

Saltoun Wood, south of Pencaitland, is one of our prime areas. There are enough tracks, paths and rides that you can avoid the worst of the seasonal vegetation on the White, Yellow, Orange and Green courses planned by Julian Hall.

Starts from 2-ish to 3-ish.  Please arrSaltounange to share transport if possible, as parking is a little limited. We will prioritise vehicles with young families for the closest parking to the event. See below for full details.

Type of event: Local event in the East of Scotland Orienteering Association (ESOA) series.
Type of terrain: Mixed woodland.
None of the courses cross the river.

General Information

Other Users: The woods are very well used by the general public. Please respect their right to be there at the same time as you are orienteering and leave the small “official” car park at the entrance to the wood to its regular users. Please observe any out of bounds areas.
Dogs: Area is well used by dog walkers so dogs are welcome.
