ELO members are invited to enter the Scottish heat of this year’s CompassSport Trophy. It is being staged at Kinnoull Hill near Perth on Sunday 23rd Feb 2025 by Tayside Orienteers.
The CompassSport Trophy is an inter-club competition. Any member may score points for the club by entering and completing your ‘correct’ course (see the list of age categories below).
ELO will pay the entry fees for all members who run the ‘correct’ course. To enter just send your details (including SI dibber number, year of birth, start time preference – early/middle/late) to Pete Younger (peteyounger at talk21.com). The deadline for entries is Sunday 9th Feb (with some adjustments allowed until 13th).
Lifts and car-sharing will be available. We have done well in recent years so come along and be part of our team on the day.
Only two runners from each club can score points on any single course. So it is important to have both male and female runners right across the age range to maximise our scoring potential on all the courses available. Juniors have to be able to run their courses without help.
